Three mares entered in the Cobra class at the Spanish Horse Breed Show 2010

The show was held at Hartpury near Gloucester on 31st July-1st August 2010

This year we entered three mares, two with foals at foot, in the Cobra class. The mares were Borrasca, Alto Bruja and Alto Dedalera.

The Cobra class is for mares only. There are at least three mares linked to each other by leather collars which have a bell hanging from each collar. The mares are run up in hand and are judged on being well matched in conformation and action.

This year there were three entries in the class and our trio came second. They were given a special prize when it was realised that the three mares were the first all British bred mares to ever be entered in a cobra class.
